PT. Indo Straits, A member of STRAITS Asia Resources Ltd. and focuses on offshore marine and civil constructions in Indonesia. Due to rapid expansion in our operations, we are looking for the services of the below positions to be placed in East Kalimantan.
Crane Barge Operators
(Kalimantan Timur)
Responsibilities:
* Operate 60 ton capacity state-of-the-art crane barge
* Handle bulk cargo using mechanical grabs
* Ensure the smooth flow of operations by being prompt and efficient
* Ensure that customers’ ships enjoy fast turnarounds
* Follow safety instructions and operate cranes safely and efficiently
* Perform daily functional maintenance checks
* Carry out activities in accordance with industry instruction practices
Requirements:
* Certificate in the Engineering discipline or equivalent
* Familiar with bulk cargo handling and port operations a plus
* Able to work at heights and has perfect color vision
* Willing to work on shifts
* Good communication in English is preferred (the successful candidate will undergo a 2 weeks intensive training program in crane barge operations in Germany)
